Warranty terms
Before it leaves our Hong Kong workshop, every Memorigin watch passes a series of strict precision tests. An international warranty covers your watch against manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of purchase. Register your watch at warranty.memorigin.com and the warranty is extended by a further 12 months.
Your sales invoice and the warranty card that comes with the watch show the date of purchase and the reference number. For service, return the watch with the original invoice and warranty card to Memorigin headquarters, an authorised agent, or a designated service point. If you send it by post, shipping is at your cost. Please pack the watch carefully and use a reliable courier with insurance; Memorigin cannot be responsible for loss or damage in transit.
Without the original invoice and warranty card, inspection or repair may be charged. Before any work begins, our watchmakers examine the watch, decide what is needed and give you a clear estimate. You then decide whether to go ahead.
What the warranty covers
If our watchmakers find a manufacturing defect in the watch or its movement, it is repaired or the part replaced free of charge. If a part is no longer produced, we will ask your permission before fitting the best available replacement. Memorigin reserves the final decision on warranty arrangements.
What the free warranty does not cover
- Defects or damage caused by negligence, accident, abuse or misuse.
- Normal wear, ageing and oxidation of external parts, including the case, strap, buckle, crown and crystal.
- Defects or damage caused by magnetic fields or weather conditions.
- Alterations, handling, disassembly or repairs by anyone other than an authorised Memorigin service centre.
Counterfeit Memorigin watches are not eligible for service.
Repair time
A tourbillon is a complex mechanism. Besides the faulty part, our watchmakers check every other component that may have been affected, then test the watch for seven days before it is returned. A typical repair therefore takes 45 to 60 days.
