The Autobots return
The Autobots had driven back the Decepticons and won a moment of peace. When the Decepticons returned, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee stepped forward again, and this time they became Memorigin tourbillons. Memorigin and Hasbro began working together in 2014, and met again in 2017 for the fifth film, Transformers: The Last Knight.

A leader, drawn in steel
For The Last Knight, Optimus Prime returns bolder than before. Craftsmen shaped him in sweeping curves, fearless and commanding, and gave his face particular care. Sapphires circle him to mark the hours, and a deep-blue alligator strap carries his colours to the wrist, framed by a silver stainless-steel case.

Gold on black, built for speed
Bumblebee, guardian of the Autobots, is cast in bright gold against a black PVD steel case, his face in rich, finely worked relief. Yellow diamonds are his eyes; diamonds mark the hours. The day/night and power-reserve displays glimpsed behind him evoke his surge into sports-car form, and the tourbillon turns like an engine running.

2014 · Where it began
A heart that turns
For the original pair, Memorigin invited three designers and refined the design round after round until every constraint was solved. Optimus Prime's outline is cut sharply into a silver skeleton dial, with natural sapphires for his eyes and hour markers. The tourbillon beats like his heart, and a navy alligator strap with red stitching wears his colours.

A ray of sunshine
On screen, Bumblebee is pure energy, a ray of sunshine, so the designers gave him bold contrast. His yellow alligator strap catches the eye before anything else, then the gilded figure against a black case. Yellow diamonds mark the hours, and two natural sapphires give him eyes that seem alive, while the tourbillon turns clockwise at his heart.

Aboard the Autobots' ship
In March 2024 the Transformers 5 pair arrived at Transformers: The Ark, the fans' favourite restaurant, modelled on the Autobots' great starship and guarded by a 2.8-metre Optimus Prime. Both watches went on sale in its boutiques in Causeway Bay and Tseung Kwan O.
