The design
One more piece of equipment
In The Dark Knight Rises, Bruce Wayne's equipment is half the legend. Memorigin set out to add one piece to it. The case is black PVD-coated steel, military in spirit and made to take a knock. Emblem, markers and hands are black luminous material, so the watch reads in the dark: Batman appears whenever he is needed.
Matthew Perry

A devoted Batman fan, Matthew Perry came across this watch in a Hong Kong mall and bought it himself. In 2022, asked by GQ to name his ten essentials, he chose it, and said: “This is probably my favourite thing that I have.”

In June 2026, Matthew Perry's own Dark Knight Rises was offered by Heritage Auctions, with the proceeds going to the Matthew Perry Foundation. The watch he called his favourite went on to do some good in his name.
Details
One warm note
Everything on the watch is black except the crown. Its matte gold is taken from Batman's utility belt, lifting the whole design without breaking its discretion. The bracelet is matte black checked steel that sits close on the wrist, and the emblem returns on the clasp.

A signature on the back
The side no one sees was given the same care. A sapphire caseback opens onto the skeletonised movement, with The Dark Knight Rises logo laser-engraved into the crystal. Each watch is polished, assembled and tested by Memorigin's watchmakers before it leaves: every guardian of the peace needs a strong team behind him.

For Batman's 85th anniversary, with Behrens and Warner Bros. Discovery: 200 pieces in grade 5 titanium. The date 27 is picked out in its own colour for Detective Comics #27, Batman's first appearance; BW, for Bruce Wayne, appears beside the emblem. Even the box recalls the Bat-Signal.
