In the Frieza saga, the tyrant who calls himself the strongest in the universe transforms three times, and Goku answers by unlocking the power of a Super Saiyan. Toei Animation drew a new scene from that fight for Memorigin's exclusive use. It became the dial: two figures in relief, suspended over an open movement.

The colour of a Super Saiyan
Case and dial are plated in gold, for the aura that surrounds Goku as he transforms. Purple rays printed on the sapphire trace the beam leaving Frieza's hand, so the blow reads in depth through the glass. In December 2023 the watch went up on a billboard at Hong Kong's Cross-Harbour Tunnel.

From the Showa era to Reiwa, Kamen Rider has stood for courage and protection. With the Hong Kong design house DGSQUARED, Memorigin chose two heroes: No. 1, where the story began, in the original green and red; and Kuuga, who opened the Heisei era, with the gold of his Mighty Form hidden in the dial.

The same fight, painted by hand
The Black Version sets the Toei scene in a black PVD case and gives the dial to a miniature painter. The colours of the fight, Goku's orange and Frieza's white and violet, are laid on by hand, then framed by black sapphire markers and gold luminous hands.

Sagittarius in gold, Athena in relief
For the thirtieth anniversary of Saint Seiya, Memorigin and Art Vantage joined Bandai Namco Asia. The Sagittarius Cloth is carved across the dial among nebulae and temple frets; rubies and sapphires mark the hours like the zodiac; and the power reserve carries a relief of Athena's scepter, for the goddess who gives her Saints their strength.

Blue for Memorigin, red for Bandai
The Memorigin Version, 100 pieces, sets the Sagittarius carving in black PVD, with blued steel hands and a navy alligator strap: understated until the light catches it. The Bandai Version, 30 pieces, wore rose gold with red hands and a red strap, the colour of Bandai itself. Every one of the thirty has found its owner.
