Zodiac Series - Sheep

There is a long story to talk about the Chinese culture. Few words are not enough to explain the thousands-year-wisdom. Especially, the story of Zodiac, an animal (character) representing a specific year, each animal (character) includes different personalities and fortunes. This gives a mysterious mask to the story of Zodiac.

Memorigin is used to launch a new watch model in Zodiac Series in each year. There is no exception in this year. A new watch collection – Zodiac Series – Sheep is now released in 2015 Chinese New Year. In order to celebrate the Chinese New Year – Sheep, Memorigin put the Chinese cultural elements in the tourbillon watch-making. Inspiring by the book - “Yi Jing”, the pronunciation of “San Yang” ,a good sign – from “San Yang Kai Tai”, is similar to the sound of three sheep. Applying this auspicious meaning in the gorgeous design on the dial, designer highlights three sheeps standing on the mountain alike, blessing the watch owner a good fortune.

On the dial, each sheep’s facial expressions are different. Under several times of tuning on the details outlining, Memorigin finally featured the three sheeps and making them standing on the top of the mountain with a mass of clouds, floating in the sky. 12 sapphire crystals are located on the dial as the indexes like the stars in the sky. The wisdom of Chinese culture - Heavenly stems and earthly branches are extracted to place in the watch design.

For the specifications of the movement, it is the main focus of the all watch collectors. As this reason, Memorigin picked a 6-o’clock-position tourbillon with 28800 oscillations per hour movement for this Zodiac Series – Sheep. On the 6 o’clock position, you can easily find the trade-mark of Memorigin on the balance wheel of the tourbillon.
