VIC TEO X MEMORIGIN “FALALA” TOURBILLON WATCH

Malaysian singer-songwriter and designer Vic Teo presents the FaLaLa Tourbillon Watch — an exclusive creation co-designed with Hong Kong tourbillon brand Memorigin, transforming a long-held artistic idea into a wearable expression of identity.

During the promotional photoshoot, Vic Teo explored multiple visual personas — from clean, understated looks to expressive, fashion-forward styling and refined gentleman aesthetics. Each look revealed a different side of his character, yet the FaLaLa Tourbillon Watch remained constant on his wrist. It reflects the philosophy behind the design: identity is not singular, but authenticity is essential.

At the heart of the watch is “FaLaLa,” a character Vic first envisioned in 2007 and brought to life through illustration in 2010. Inspired by a fly, FaLaLa challenges conventional symbolism — no longer associated with negativity, but reimagined as a gentle, freedom-loving soul drawn to flowers. The name itself plays on the word “FLY” (F-LY), representing lightness, movement, and a vibrant life force.

The FaLaLa Tourbillon Watch features a 40mm stainless-steel case with a FaLaLa-themed skeleton dial, allowing the wearer to observe the mechanical rhythm beneath. At 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon completes one rotation every 60 seconds, symbolising the passage of time and quiet perseverance. Eleven diamond-set hour markers add subtle brilliance, while blue luminous hands ensure clarity across changing light.

Powered by a manual-winding movement, each interaction becomes a deliberate ritual — a moment to reconnect with time, intention, and self.

More than a watch, FaLaLa represents an attitude: the courage to embrace different sides of yourself, and the freedom to move through time without compromise.
