Vic Teo Designs the New Memorigin FaLaLa Tourbillon

Memorigin collaborates with Malaysian singer-songwriter Vic Teo to unveil the new FaLaLa Tourbillon, a creation personally conceptualized and designed by the artist himself. Bringing his signature character “FaLaLa” to life for the first time in horological form, the collaboration reflects a unique blend of personal storytelling, artistic expression, and fine craftsmanship.

First imagined in 2007, “FaLaLa” derives its name from a playful pun on the word FLY, symbolizing freedom, lightness, and vibrant life force. Unlike traditional depictions of flies, FaLaLa is portrayed as pure, gentle, and fond of flowers — a character that celebrates individuality and the courage to be oneself. Vic hopes this design will inspire wearers to embrace authenticity and inner strength. 

The FaLaLa Tourbillon features a skeletonized dial that captures the character’s lively silhouette, with a flying tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock rotating once every 60 seconds — a poetic expression of time, movement, and perseverance. Eleven diamonds mark the hours, complemented by blue luminous hands and a polished stainless-steel case, merging playful charm with refined horological detail.

Available in white, black, red, and blue alligator straps, the collection offers versatility, personality, and a touch of artistry. Vic Teo shares that he hopes each wearer will draw confidence and positivity from FaLaLa, making the timepiece not just an accessory, but a meaningful companion on their personal journey.
