The Spirit of Kung Fu Soccer, Transformed into a Timepiece

The nationwide promotional campaign for Stephen Chow’s latest film, Kung Fu Soccer, has recently commenced. During the campaign, Stephen Chow, representing Bingo Group – Memorigin (BGM), presented a new Kung Fu Soccer tourbillon watch to renowned livestreamer Dong Yu Hui. The online promotional event ran for approximately one hour and generated more than 200 million exposures, extending the excitement surrounding the film onto the wrist.

As an official BGM collaborative creation, the Kung Fu Soccer collection comprises two timepieces — a tourbillon and an automatic watch. Inspired by the “Emei Team” in the film, the collection translates the fusion of Chinese martial arts and football, the pursuit of dreams and an unwavering spirit of perseverance into distinctive watch designs.

The Kung Fu Soccer Tourbillon Watch features an openworked dial, revealing the dynamic movement of the tourbillon calibre beneath. The “Emei Team” crest is engraved at 12 o’clock, while an openworked football motif at 9 o’clock forms the power reserve indication. At 3 o’clock, the day-and-night indicator is adorned with an intricate Chinese cloud motif, bringing together the language of football, Chinese cultural elements and the precision of fine watchmaking.

The timepiece is accompanied by two premium alligator straps in vivid red and bright yellow, echoing the colours of the “Emei Team” jerseys and offering two distinctive expressions on the wrist.

The Kung Fu Soccer collection has also recently been featured on the Loong Air in-flight platform, allowing passengers to discover the official BGM collaboration tourbillon and automatic timepieces during their journey, and to experience the distinctive meeting of cinematic creativity and the artistry of watchmaking.

With the purchase of the Kung Fu Soccer Tourbillon Watch, collectors will receive a crystal-ball football night light bearing Stephen Chow’s autograph, extending the passion and indomitable spirit of the film beyond the wrist and into the world of collecting.

The Kung Fu Soccer Tourbillon Watch are now officially available.
