Mercuri 001（One）

Memorigin, the Hong Kong tourbillon watch brand, has long been dedicated to crafting exquisite and technically sophisticated tourbillon timepieces. Marking its 15th anniversary milestone, the brand introduces Mercuri, a sub-brand defined by minimalist design and meticulous finishing as its core aesthetic, alongside the debut of its inaugural creation, Mercuri 001 (One). From the exterior lines to the intricate details of the movement within, every detail is refined through layers of hand-finishing, revealing the interplay of light and shadow brought forth by meticulous finishing.

Mercuri 001 features a 39mm barrel-shaped case paired with a classic round bezel and an integrated stainless-steel bracelet. The entire timepiece is finished through an alternating interplay of satin brushing and polished bevels: brushed surfaces display clean and uniform lines, while polished elements appear smooth and luminous, creating a clear and enduring sense of detail. Notably, the timepiece embraces a slender profile, with an overall thickness of only 8.6mm, leaving the sense of precision engineering to be expressed through the details themselves.

In terms of functionality, Mercuri 001 adopts a screw-in crown structure, further enhancing sealing performance. The timepiece is water resistant to 7 ATM, offering greater reassurance for everyday wear.

From a craftsmanship perspective, the defining focus of Mercuri 001 lies in the consistency of finishing from the inside out. It is equipped with a specially customised micro-rotor automatic movement developed by the brand’s own manufacture, delivering a 42-hour power reserve and operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Each component of the movement is individually hand-finished by watchmakers, while the movement bridges are treated with rhodium plating. This not only enhances the visual brilliance and reflective depth of the metal surfaces, but also provides improved resistance to corrosion, further demonstrating the distinctive craftsmanship identity of high-end watchmaking.
