Memorigin x HKBUAS 20th Anniversary Tourbillon Shines Bright in Causeway Bay

To commemorate its 20th anniversary, Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School (HKBUAS) has partnered with renowned Hong Kong tourbillon watchmaker Memorigin to launch a limited-edition “20th Anniversary Commemorative Tourbillon Watch.” The watch is now prominently featured on the outdoor LED screen at Jade & Pearl Plaza, Paterson Street, Causeway Bay, radiating brilliance in one of the city’s busiest districts.

This collaboration symbolizes the spirit of “Heritage and Innovation in Harmony.” Over the past two decades, HKBUAS has remained committed to holistic education, fostering growth, creativity, and character in its students. Memorigin, through exquisite craftsmanship, translates this educational philosophy into a timeless symbol — a tribute that reflects the school’s proud journey and enduring dedication. The brand hopes to merge the essence of time and education, allowing every wearer to carry the spirit of HKBUAS’s perseverance and excellence on their wrist.

The HKBUAS 20th Anniversary Tourbillon Watch collection comprises two editions — Unity (Stainless Steel Edition) and Success (Rose Gold–Plated Edition). Each features a skeleton dial that reveals the intricate architecture of the tourbillon movement. The school emblem is engraved at 12 o’clock to embody the school’s motto and values, while the day-night indicator with the inscription “HKBUAS” sits at 3 o’clock. A power reserve display at 9 o’clock adds both practical function and visual balance.
Powered by Memorigin’s in-house tourbillon movement, the watch consists of 193 components and 27 jewels, providing an 80-hour power reserve. The brand also offers custom engraving services, allowing alumni, teachers, students, and supporters to create a one-of-a-kind commemorative piece that celebrates their personal connection to the school’s legacy.
