Renowned as the most popular martial arts comics in the 70s-80s, “Oriental Heroes” has been a collective memory of many Hong Kong people. Initially published in 1969, the story has witnessed the revolution of Hong Kong, realizing the social problems at that time. In stories of “Oriental Heroes”, image of every character was deeply imprinted in people’s hearts. In 2000, the author Tony Wong Yuk Long released a new series of “Oriental Heroes”, widely spreading martial virtue and Hong Kong local culture throughout Asia. The release has again brought up fever among fans of ‘Oriental Heroes’, and had led fans immerse themselves into the martial arts world by Doctor Tony Wong. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the renowned “Oriental Heroes”, Memorigin has collaborated with the distinguished cartoonist Doctor Tony Wong, releasing our “Master of Tiger Tourbillon”. The tourbillon had its debut in the Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2019 promoting justice with our citizens, unleashing the values of “Oriental Heroes”

The concept of the tourbillon was based on the main character in “Oriental Heroes”, Wang Xiao Hu. A courageous pose from his signature kicking technique was chosen to be the dial, which is then plated in gold color, marking his righteous image, with a vivid and lifelike outlook. There is an embossment of “Oriental Heroes” on the right of the dial, indicating its magnificence. 12 pieces of diamond was embedded as the index, implying power clustering on the night-illuminating hands as Wang kicked his foot, fending dark forces. While the dial has a skeletal design that shows the operation of the delicate watch components, its design matches the movement behind Wang Xiao Hu. With the distinct rose gold plating on the barrel-shaped case, in a black crocodile strap, has added a sense of fieriness.

Memorigin has selected a 40 hour power reserve, with an automated winding tourbillon movement, with a frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour. The tourbillon’s subtle look, high stability configuration is just the perfect alignment with the modest characters in “Oriental Heroes”
