The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society’s “Sing & Yum” Charity Dinner recently concluded with resounding success, and Memorigin was honored to support the event as a key partner. The brand generously sponsored several of its top-selling tourbillon timepieces for auction, with all proceeds donated to the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society in support of cancer prevention, treatment, and comprehensive patient support services. Mr. William Shum, Founder and CEO of Memorigin, attended the evening in person—championing the cause and bearing witness to the profound impact of collective goodwill.

The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society collaborated with Memorigin, the renowned Hong Kong tourbillon watch brand, to unveil the “I AM A HERO” tourbillon collection. This exceptional series was created to raise vital funds in support of the Society’s ongoing mission: to promote cancer prevention and early detection; provide treatment, rehabilitation, and palliative care; and offer holistic support to patients and their families. Through education, research, and public awareness, the initiative aims to ease the burden of cancer across Hong Kong.

In keeping with the “I AM A HERO” theme, the design of the three timepieces takes inspiration from the iconic diamond-shaped chest emblem and the classic eye mask of superheroes—paying tribute to every patient who bravely faces cancer, as well as the selfless caregivers who stand beside them. They are the true heroes of everyday life. At 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, a day-night indicator and a power reserve display enrich both functionality and visual depth.

Each timepiece is powered by a tourbillon movement composed of 193 components and 27 jewel bearings, offering an impressive 80-hour power reserve and operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour—delivering exceptional precision. The continuously rotating tourbillon at 6 o’clock symbolises the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society’s unwavering support and dedication to patients and their families.

Memorigin also offers personalised movement engraving services, transforming each timepiece into a treasured keepsake. After deducting costs, all proceeds from the collection will be donated to the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society in support of its cancer care and education efforts— bringing hope and strength to lives in need.
