Hong Kong TMG singer-songwriter Vic Teo rose to wider prominence after being named first runner-up on Midlife, Sing & Shine! 3, gaining widespread recognition for his musical talent. Vic recently also announced a New Year’s Eve concert to welcome 2026 with his fans, marking his second solo concert within a year and reflecting his growing popularity in the music industry. Beyond his music career, Vic expands his creative expression into the world of design through a collaboration with Hong Kong tourbillon brand Memorigin, unveiling the FaLaLa Tourbillon Watch, inspired by his original IP character “FaLaLa.” The timepiece represents a fusion of craftsmanship and creativity, translating Vic’s illustrated character into a mechanical work of horological art.

Conceived in 2007, “FaLaLa” reinterprets the conventional image of a fly. Rather than symbolizing impurity or harm, the character is envisioned as one that is drawn to flowers and embodies a pure and innocent spirit. According to Vic, the name “FaLaLa” is derived from a phonetic play on the English word “FLY” (F-LY), symbolizing flight while conveying freedom, lightness, and vitality.

On the dial, FaLaLa is depicted surfing while holding a flower. The partially skeletonized dial reveals the precise operation of the tourbillon movement beneath, highlighting the mechanical depth of the timepiece. Ten diamond-set hour markers are applied on the dial, complemented by blue luminous hands. The design balances playful artistic expression with refined watchmaking aesthetics. To cater to different preferences, the watch is offered with alligator straps in four colour options: black, white, red, and blue.

At its core, the FaLaLa Tourbillon Watch is powered by a flying tourbillon movement composed of 155 components and 18 jewels, delivering a 40-hour power reserve. Positioned at 6 o’clock, the tourbillon completes one full rotation every 60 seconds, symbolizing the passage of time and the enduring spirit of perseverance.

The watch is presented in a wooden watch box, accompanied by a specially designed sleeve featuring FaLaLa holding a flower. Vic shares that FaLaLa represents a spirit of individuality and the courage to embrace one’s uniqueness. Through this creation, he hopes every wearer will be inspired to express their true self with confidence and pursue a life aligned with inner fulfillment.
