FaLaLa FLY Automatic Watch Launch
Posted by Memorigin on
Following the earlier launch of the FaLaLa Tourbillon, Memorigin once again collaborates with Hong Kong singer-songwriter Vic Teo of TMG to unveil the FaLaLa FLY Automatic Watch at the 2026 Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. Building upon their shared exploration of creativity and artistry, the new timepiece embraces a lighter and more playful aesthetic, bringing the original FaLaLa character to the wrist and into everyday life.
Created by Vic Teo, FaLaLa is an original character inspired by a small fly with an innocent and pure-hearted nature. The character embodies a simple yet meaningful philosophy: while we may not be able to choose our origins or natural appearance, we can choose how we face life, remain kind, and embrace every moment wholeheartedly. The new timepiece carries this spirit of playfulness and positivity, transforming the watch into more than a timepiece — it becomes a distinctive expression of personality and a carefree approach to life.
The watch comes alive through a series of playful design details. FaLaLa is positioned on the minute disc, rotating with the passage of time to create a lively sense of movement, as if freely taking flight across the dial. The hour hand takes the form of FaLaLa’s humorous companion, “A Lump of Poop”, with the two characters seemingly chasing one another as time unfolds, bringing an unexpected touch of wit and whimsy to the wrist.
A frosted rubber case is paired with a white rubber strap printed with FaLaLa’s distinctive flight path, creating a lightweight and energetic aesthetic designed for everyday wear and leisure occasions.
At the launch, Memorigin and Vic Teo also announced the establishment of a new sub-brand, “Sunny Park”, extending their creative collaboration into a broader range of timepieces and exploring new possibilities at the intersection of art, design and watchmaking.
Beyond creativity, the collaboration also carries a meaningful commitment to the community. The launch introduced the “Vic Teo FaLaLa Scholarship – Wong Tai Sin Primary School Growth Programme”, which will support 66 primary school students recommended by school principals in the district, encouraging them to pursue their aspirations with confidence.
Vic Teo was also officially appointed as Ambassador of the Wong Tai Sin District Child Adolescent Development Fund, where he will continue to inspire and spread positivity through music and creative expression.
From the creative expression embodied in a timepiece to a heartfelt commitment to the community, Memorigin is delighted to once again join forces with Vic Teo, extending their creative vision beyond the wrist and into everyday life, while sharing inspiration, warmth and joy in new and meaningful forms.
