This year, the brand unveils the new Crescent Moon Tourbillon, distinguished by a distinctly contemporary cushion-shaped case. Through exquisite skeletonisation and double-sided sapphire crystal, an alluring crescent-shaped arc is traced across the dial, transforming a romantic celestial vision into a work of precision mechanical artistry.

Inspired by the clarity of the night sky, the Crescent Moon Tourbillon features a stainless-steel case defined by a harmonious interplay of rounded and squared forms, creating a distinctive presence on the wrist. To capture the ethereal beauty of the moon suspended high in the sky, Memorigin’s development team has pushed the art of skeletonisation to its fullest expression, boldly removing the majority of the dial while refining the movement architecture to its essential elements. The result is a striking sense of “negative space”, allowing the wearer to see through the entire timepiece and appreciate its intricate mechanical operation through dual layers of highly transparent, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The designer has further enhanced the skeletonised dial with a clean black arc-shaped chapter ring. Evoking an elegant crescent moon in the night sky, the geometric line stands in striking contrast against the finely finished movement components, while the interplay of light and reflection brings its intricate layers and depth to life.

Beneath the “crescent moon”, a flying tourbillon takes centre stage at 6 o’clock. Completing one rotation every 60 seconds, the newly designed tourbillon cage, adorned with the Memorigin emblem, evokes the brilliance of a shining star in the night sky. Together with the crescent-shaped chapter ring above, the flying tourbillon creates a captivating celestial composition — a “crescent moon accompanied by a star”.

The timepiece is powered by a manually wound tourbillon movement developed in-house by Memorigin, offering a 48-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It brings together exceptional precision and visual appeal, expressing the beauty of mechanical watchmaking through a distinctive celestial design.
