2025 HK Watch & Clock Fair – Memorigin Tourbillon Launch Guests

This year, Memorigin proudly unveils a stunning collection of tourbillon timepieces, inviting the athletes and celebrities who collaborated with the brand to attend the launch event. There, they will share the inspirations behind their creations and the exceptional artistry embodied within each design. Among the highlights are the “The Peak Zone” Tourbillon, created with world-class karate athletes Grace Lau and Ariel Torres; the “60 Years of Uniting for Dreams” Tourbillon, launched in collaboration with the Hong Chi Association; the “Ace” Tourbillon, designed by Hong Kong’s wheelchair badminton athlete Daniel Chan; and the “Guan Yu” Tourbillon, designed by actor Michael Tong. Each timepiece is infused with profound stories and extraordinary creativity.

“The Peak-Zone Series” Tourbillon Launch

The Peak Zone Series Tourbillon Watch incorporates abundant elements inspired by the karate dojo. The outer dial is adorned with intricate wood-grain engravings, complemented by tatami-inspired textures and karate belt motifs. Five gemstones—blue, yellow, black, green, and red—are set on the watch, symbolizing the ultimate ambition of every athlete. Engraved on the day-night indicator is Ariel’s personal mantra, “Let’s make it happen”, serving as a reminder to pursue goals with positivity and determination. The power reserve indicator features a scales motif, representing the balance of strength, speed, rhythm, and grace emphasized in karate.

"60 Years of Uniting for Dreams" Tourbillon Launch

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Hong Chi Association, Memorigin has partnered with the Association to host the 60 Years of Uniting for Dreams Tourbillon Watch Dial Design Competition and unveil the Tourbillon Watch. Its dial features "Happy Land", the award-winning artwork by Cheung Kai Chun, a student of the Hong Chi Winifred Mary Cheung Morninghope School. Rendered in soft pink tones, the composition depicts stars, the sun, clouds, and other decorative elements, with sixty hidden smiling faces subtly integrated to evoke the joy and heartfelt emotions of school life.

"Ace" Tourbillon Launch

The Ace Tourbillon Watch presents a skeleton dial adorned with elements of profound significance from Daniel’s life. At 12 o’clock rests a symbolic depiction of his wheelchair, while at 3 and 9 o’clock, two medal-like metal reliefs—one in silver, the other in bronze—are intricately engraved with shuttlecock and racket motifs, representing the medals he earned at the international events in Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2020, respectively.

"Guan Yu" Tourbillon Launch

Venue：The Dial, Salon de TIME, Halls 3FG, L3, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

Inspired by Guan Yu, the legendary general of Shu Han from the Three Kingdoms era, revered for his loyalty, righteousness, and bravery, the watch features a vintage-style portrait of Guan Yu on the dial, set against a backdrop of armor patterns. The hour markers masterfully incorporate the classic tale of “Crossing Five Passes and Slaying Six Generals”, with five rubies symbolizing the “Five Passes”. The hands are shaped like the Green Dragon Crescent Blade, sweeping across the dial to represent Guan Yu’s solitary ride through countless obstacles, ultimately reuniting with his lord Liu Bei.
