The video game “Monster Hunter: World” has achieved unprecedented success after launch. Not only has it won several gaming awards, but has also reached over 13 million in sales record globally. In 2019, CAPCOM announced that they are launching “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne”, a brand-new expansion for “Monster Hunter: World”. Hunters can unleash their hunting spirit with more challenging quests in unexplored regions.
Last year, CAPCOM Asia held its first official “MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD HONG KONG CHAMPIONSHIP” and received much attention. Many people were interested in its prize for the champion, an original tourbillon watch that had used the game as the design concept. While “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne” will be available for sale soon, CAPCOM Asia has collaborated with Memorigin, the Hong Kong tourbillon watch brand, again to design another game-themed tourbillon watch. The watch is iconic and representative with its new Iceborne logo at the upper part of the metal dial. It has also the Memorigin’s best skeletal dial design to show the operation of the delicate tourbillon components at the back. While the main color tone of Iceborne is blue, the alligator strap and the stainless-steel hour-hands are in blue color. The indices are even presented in 12 sapphire crystals. A world of ice and snow is illustrated under the silver and blue color match, and the metal material symbolizes the strong and tough side of hunters. These details perfectly align with the theme of Iceborne.
Memorigin specially chooses a tourbillon movement with automatic winding system and 40 hours of power reserve. Hunters can be powerfully ready to get their preys anytime. The tourbillon vibrates in a frequency of 28,800 times per hour. It provides high stability and accuracy to help the hunters seize every second in the fights. The watch will be the best partner of the hunter, and the hunter wearing this watch will be the most invincible.
