Daniel Chan, Hong Kong’s only wheelchair badminton athlete, officially retired in 2024. At the age of 23, he was involved in a traffic accident that resulted in the loss of his left leg. The incident once left him disheartened and lost, but it was badminton that led him out of the shadows and ignited his journey as a full-time athlete.
